Last Wish.....

I am beautiful and lovely, fresh and delicate.
My fragrance fills your senses with delight
I add beauty and colour to your life
I give you immense joy and pleasure.

I smile when I see a smile on your face
My life may be short, but I am content
For I was able to make you SMILE.
Make others SMILE just like I made you smile!
It's my last wish.

WORLD OF SMILES

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University's Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.
As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

SMILES

It amazed me - every time I saw Joe he was smiling. It didn't matter whether he had to stop at a stop light, or if he were the seventh person in line at the bank, and the teller closed her bay just before he got there. Joe always smiled. It made me wonder why he always seemed so happy.

Having observed Joe with other people, I noticed something else also. Joe asked people how they were doing, and really seemed to listen to their answers. He was compassionate if someone were hurting, and had kind words, and offered to help in any way he could.

It made me think...what if I tried to smile more? An experiment of sorts began when I went to the grocery store. I smiled as I went up and down the aisles...and people I didn't even know smiled back at me. Some even spoke! The little kid in the cart who was giving his mother a hard time saw me smile and stopped talking...and, you guessed it'he made a shy little attempt at a smile. The man in the handicapped cart needed a person to reach something...I could get that for him. The smile even transferred over to him, and he thanked me.

As I drove home, I was smiling. I thought about what I had just learned, and when someone passed me and gave me a gesture, I smiled at him. He looked perplexed.

Now I know a smile is a small thing, but what if we were all to try to smile a few more times each day? I couldn't believe how great I felt. Nothing in my life had changed...but maybe it had. For what I learned was that such a small thing could lift not only my spirits, but those around me as well.

DID YOU SMILE TODAY?

Life is like a mirror, we get the best results when we smile at it.  ~Author Unknown

If you have not smiled yet, now is the time to do it. Here you go..1,2,3 SMILE! Not just a smile, your BEST smile! I am sure you feel a change. Don't you? I do.

Smiles are contagious, when you smile, the world smiles back at you. Your mood lifts and you notice the little things around you that can make you smile despite all the chaos surrounding you.
There are a lot of  advantages of smiling such as it makes you look younger, pleasant and more attractive. It is healthy too and it creates a force around you that pulls people towards you.

No matter how difficult or tiring your life circumstances are, you sure have something to laugh about. We all do! It's just that sometimes we tend to look at all the unpleasant stuff that we forget all our blessings. There is always something good in your life. Next time you are feeling low just SMILE and think about everything good in your life. It may not be that significant but it is still good. You are lucky that you get fresh air to breathe, you don't have to starve like millions of other people out there, you have at least one person who loves you dearly, you have got friends who care about you and the list can go on and on.

See, you got a lot of reasons to smile. Always smile! Your smile can give hope to a depressed soul. Believe it or not, a simple SMILE has saved lives.

Loving Yourself by Stacey Chillemi

Life should feel as you would feel waking up on a sunny day,
Feeling the warmth of the sun as the sunlight peers through the window shades.
It is a refreshing feeling,
A feeling of joy,
  A feeling of peace.
The planet is blessed to have you in our world,
As a person, you are as beautiful as the pedals of a rose
The laughter of children’s voices,
When I look outside my bedroom window,
I see the beauty of the world that God has created and the window of opportunities it holds.
I need to feel good about myself,
I need to have hope
I must succeed,
 I must love myself
Moreover, accept who I am
I must be an inspiration to others,
As others were for me.

“You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.”

'How do I love myself?', probably you would have asked yourself this question by now. It's simple and we are capable of loving ourselves. Here are some tips which will help you achieve this.

1.  Accept you for who you are. Don't try to become someone you are NOT just to please others.

2. Feel good about yourself, smile when you see yourself in the mirror.

3. Engage in activities which you enjoy and which make you happy.

4. Believe in yourself and don't let anyone ever kill your dreams.

5. Be around people who make you feel good about yourself.

6. Forgive yourself often and don't be too harsh on yourself.

7. Be confident of yourself and face the world with courage.

8. Invest on your health (exercise, eat healthy food, do regular health check-ups etc) , for only a  healthy mind can be optimistic.

9. Pray because when you pray you feel good about yourself and get that inner peace.

10. Know that you have the will power to bring those changes which will make your life better.

11. Be proud of your achievements- big or small. Praise yourself!

Love yourself because if you don't no one else would!
